Cinsel Tiksinti Bozukluğu Nedir?
Cinsel tiksinti bozukluğu, sürekli ya da zaman zaman tekrarlayan biçimde, cinsel partner ile genital ilişki kurmaktan aşırı tiksinti duyma ve bu sebeple cinsel ilişkiden kaçınma durumudur. Cinsellikten iğrenme ve tiksinti duyma şeklinde kendini gösteren bu bozuklukta kişiler genelde her türlü cinsel uyarım veren durum veya nesneden kaçınırlar.
Bunlar başlıca cinsel ilişki, cinsel organlar, cinsel salgılar ve kokular, öpüşmek veya kucaklaşmak olabilir. Bazen bu tiksinti hali yalnızca tek bir nesne ve duruma karşı olabilir ve kişi diğer cinsel eylemleri rahatlıkla yerine getirebilir.
Kişiler bu nesneler ya da durumlar ile karşı karşıya kalırsa bulantı, kusma, öğürtü gibi refleksler gösterebilirler. Ayrıca cinselliğe karşı aşırı bir duyarsızlık, öfke ve nefret de görülebilir. Kişi cinsel ilişki eylemi sırasında anksiyete, korku yaşayabilir. Ağır durumlarda ise panik atak gözlenebilmektedir.
Kişiler, tiksinti duyduğu nesne veya konu ile ilgili katı yasaklar koyarak o durumdan kaçınabilir. Bazı durumlarda cinselliği düşünmek bile semptomların oluşmasına sebep olabilir.
Bu bozukluk toplumumuzda kadınlarda daha sık görülmekle beraber erkeklerde de görülebilmektedir ancak cinsel tiksinti bozukluğu cinsel isteksizlikten farklıdır. Cinsel tiksinti bozukluğu, cinsel isteksizliğe ve diğer cinsel bozukluklara kıyasla toplumda daha az görülür.
Cinsel Tiksinti Bozukluğunun Sebepleri
Bu bozukluk genellikle psikolojik sebeplerden kaynaklanır ve çoğunlukla cinsellikle ilgili yanlış bilgiler ve değer yargıları kişilerin psikolojisini etkiler. Bu bozukluğun gelişmesine sebep olan faktörler şunlar olabilir:
• Cinselliğin ayıp, günah ve iğrenç bir durum olarak nitelendirilmesi ve bu şekilde büyümek
• Yaşanmış cinsel travmalar (taciz, cinsel istismar, ensest ve tecavüz)
• Negatif etkilenim (cinsellikle ilgili şahit olunmuş olumsuz olaylar ve konuşmalar)
• Olumsuz cinsel deneyimler

Cinsel tiksinti bozukluğu, tedavi edilmediği durumlarda kişilerin romantik ilişkilerini, evliliklerini veya sosyal hayatlarını ciddi bir biçimde etkileyebilir. Kişinin yaşantısını derinden etkileyen bu bozukluk, cinsel terapiler vasıtasıyla uzmanlar tarafından çözülebilir.
Tedavi için kullanılan yöntemler çeşitlilik göstermektedir ancak cinsel bozukluklar konusunda eğitimi bulunan bir uzman, durumu analiz ederek kişi için en uygun tedavi yöntemini belirleyebilir ve tedavi süreci başarıya ulaştırılabilir.
